Subscription for super cruise?

I make sure not to totally depend on tech when I drive but my wife prefers to use the super cruise on our 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury. I've been telling her she should get used to driving without it because I don't like to pay for the subscription fee when the trial version is over! The feature isn't 100% accurate to begin with and they want to charge us for that? It's honestly annoying. With the car's price, I think that cost should've been built in!

On a more serious note tho it's ridiculous they nickel and dime you for a feature that should already be included on a car in that price range. Paying extra for something that's not even flawless? hard pass and these automakers are getting greedy with this subscription nonsense.

I get where you're coming from, my worry is relying on tech that's still not perfect, then getting hit with extra fees and for that price, Super Cruise should definitely be included, no question

well, yeah, I agree that it's ridiculous. and you don't need to pay for something you barely use
