Any trick to unlock grille lights?

Checking this on behalf of my sister bec it looks like the grille light show and badge glow are blocked in the UK due to local rules. heard the LEDs are already in place but disabled at the fuse or software level. Anyone figure out a workaround or unlock trick for these lights?

The authorities blocked them for a reason, thir own reasons, so i think you might get in trouble if you enable them. Even if you do, you might risk voiding your warranty because you'll the delaer probably won't do it, so you'll need to take it elsewhere

UK rules can be strict on grille and badge lights, I saw somewhere someone tried reprogramming the car's control modules and tapping into the wiring to bypass the fuse and while it's not exactly easy anyway and can void warranties or break regulations, so definitely weigh the risks, you didn't hear it from atticmonkey by the way
