How is it that a luxury EV like the 2023 Lyriq can still suffer total screen blackouts? If everything runs through one screen, shouldn't reliability be non-negotiable? It feels like we're beta testing $60K tech on the road
It seems like a common issue, unfortunately. I was recently at the dealer and I overheard two guys experiencing the same thing.
Have you tried a soft reset?? Just put the car in park, then press and hold the End Call button on the steering wheel for about 15 seconds. The screen should turn off and then reboot. If that doesn't work, you might need to go to the dealer for a software update like the two guys did.
Also try confirm if your car is included in the recall on some 2023 models. You can do it with your VIN on the NHTSA website. Or ask your dealer to see if you're part of that recall and if the update has been applied yet.
