Missing IRS form

I bought a 2023 Lyriq Sport last fall and just started doing my taxes. I thought I'd get the $3,750 EV credit, but my tax software said I need a Clean Vehicle Seller Report from the dealer (IRS Form 15400).

I asked my dealer, but they didn't know what it was. Cadillac support said the dealer was supposed to send that form to the IRS by mid-January. Now I'm worried they didn't do it and I might not get the credit. Anyone else had a similar issue?

You should check with Cadillac or your dealer to make sure that Form 15400 has been filed with the IRS. If it hasn't been submitted, you won't be able to claim the EV credit.
